So let's start with an introduction! My name is Hibbah and I am a 20 year old university student. Alhumdulillah I am also a proud Muslim Canadian. I was born in Saudi Arabia but my roots are originally of Pakistani decent. My family and I moved to Canada when I was six years of age and have lived here ever since, although I must say we have moved around quite a lot!
Apart from my personal life, something that I am really passionate about is fashion! Being completely honest I have to say that I think I had the worst fashion sense growing up. As a child my mom would dress me up and it was great but when I hit middle school I wanted to take matters into my own hands and that's when things went downhill. Oh dear! I don't even want to get started on that!
Start of high school -yeah fashion sense was still horrible! But as time passed and high school started coming to an end, what I started to enjoy was sewing and making my own outfits and personally I believe it was this interest that got me into fashion and helped me dress better. Thank God!
As a Muslim and someone that wears the hijab I know sometimes it may difficult to wear modest clothing and also keep up with fashion trends. My religion and belief are somethings I truly and strongly hold on to and feel should not be sacrificed for anything. That is why I want to share my ideas and thoughts on fashion and how I dress for those in the same situation.
